- Chuck Roast
Cut from the Chuck which is the area above the shoulder at the neck. Chuck Roasts are large, flat shape pieces of beef that are generally 2-3 inches thick. It’s commonly well marbled has a robust beefy flavor.
Try rubbing it with dry onion soup mix, cover tightly with foil and bake 275-300 degrees for 3-4 hours in oven until tender. This cut works well in the crock pot with a cup of beef broth.
